Cheesecake and Crime, Inc. was planned and commited by Pamela Mains and Lendall Mains. The main plot was devised by Pamela, a Las Vegas native and avid reader of mystery, thriller and suspense novels who decided years ago that she wanted to open a bookstore dedicated to her passion for justice in the virtual world of books. The idea of Cheesecake and Crime, Inc. popped into her head one day fully formed with "Lola" debuting as the mascot. Is she good or is she bad? We'll leave it to you to sniff that one out! But, what's a girl to do when the real world isn't running out to support independent bookstores anymore? Why, bring in her hubby's famous cheesecake to help support the cause! Lendall, an architect by day, has made the best cheeecake in all the world (if we say so ourselves) for thirty years and counting.... He helped pay his way through college making cheesecakes from a secret, special recipe. But, since he still loves architecture he's trained a highly competent and creative staff to take over the day to day baking, but don't try to steal the secret - they've signed confidentiality agreements! Voila! Our original and unique store, Cheesecake and Crime, Inc. was born! Certificate is valid for cheesecakes, books or gifts at Cheesecake and Crime.
